The mission of the Coalition is to improve the quality of life among youth, and over time, adults of Yell, Logan, Conway and Scott Counties in the State of Arkansas by collaboratively reducing and controlling substance abuse, and by supporting and promoting healthy, safe, and drug-free lifestyles.
The Coalition will strive to design and implement various strategies of accomplishing this goal including but not limited to: targeting youth and adults who are or are at-risk of becoming substance abusers with various forms of advertising, presentations and programs, the production and/or distribution of promotional material that provides anti-substance abuse driven content, and assisting various civic, faith-based or government organizations that share a similar mission where such a collaboration would be mutually beneficial in achieving said missions.
